The Moab Guide Summit
This event is designed to provide updates on local land agency projects, share natural and cultural resource information, offer guide-industry education, and create an annual opportunity for commercial permittees to connect directly with public land agency staff. It supports the development of positive, effective relationships between agencies and permitted outfitters, strengthens the shared stewardship of Southeast Utah’s public lands, and encourages transparency around agency operations and outcomes. Through open conversation and genuine human connection, the event helps sustain the collaborative care of the landscapes we all value.
Event Goals
Provide updates on local land agency projects and outcomes
Provide natural/cultural resource & guide industry education to commercial permittees operating on Southeast Utah public lands
Provide the annual opportunity for commercial guides to interface with public land agency staff
